I'm Joslyn Furlan… a Womb Doula, Somatic Practitioner & Earth Medicine Steward living in Nevada City, California.

My hands were trained long before I had language for this work. I became a Licensed Esthetician in 2017 through Estelle Skin Care School, & spent the years after helping manage my grandmother's family spa, learning what it asks of you to touch a woman's body with care.

In 2021 the plants called me. I began my study of herbalism & trained in women's wellness & herbalism through Freedom with Wellness with Samara & Shadae. In 2022 I opened my first apothecary.

In 2023 I turned toward the Womb. I haven't turned away since.

What followed were years of apprenticeship. Somatic healing & womb care. Yoni steam herbalism, a medicine of its own, trained through Pythia Academy with Cassandra Arias. Yoni Facilitator Training with Julilia Rose. Womb Cocoon Massage with Karley Gardner. Maya womb massage & midwifery teachings through the Maya Midwife Project. Divination & oracular arts through the Academy of Oracle Arts with Isis Indriya. In 2024 I assisted my first birth & began my study of Doula care. In 2025 I traveled to Guatemala to sit with the Mayan Abuelas & study in the tradition directly.

That same year I began offering Womb Grief & Death Care… holding the losses our culture gives no ceremony to.

In 2026 I deepened into Cyclic Hormone Healing through Cyclic Mastery with Natalie Elliot, enrolled in Ayurvedic Postpartum Care through Aryumama with Coco Genevive, & kept training in bodywork so I could keep teaching others in Cyclic Womb Care.

I'm still a student. I'm currently in continued education through the Womb Oracle Arts Apprenticeship… because this medicine is not a thing you finish. It keeps asking more of you, & I keep saying yes.

Over 100 women have moved through my care… through trainings, retreats, 1:1 mentorship & in-person hands-on healing.

I don't hold this medicine as my own. Every practice I offer was placed in my hands by a teacher, a school, a lineage of women who kept it alive when keeping it alive cost something. My work is to tend it well, & to pass it on.
